Koydo Academy is the high-school home in Koydo (ages 14–18). It is a calmer workspace built for serious study and exam readiness — Algebra II through calculus, AP and IB sciences, humanities and writing, computer science, languages, and adaptive prep for the SAT, ACT, and individual AP subjects. Academy is built around independent learners. Study blocks use a focused 25-minute Pomodoro pattern, dashboards show real progress instead of streak shaming, and a quick reflection step closes each session. Parent visibility is opt-in and shows study time and goal completion — not message content or individual answers. The same Koydo account carries forward from Junior, Kids, and Learn into Academy, with subject paths that get more rigorous as the learner is ready.

- How does Academy work alongside school assignments?
- Academy is independent of any single school's LMS. Most students use it for review, exam prep, and the subjects their school does not cover deeply enough. Goal-setting and study blocks fit around homework rather than replacing it.
- Can I use Academy for AP and IB exams?
- Yes for AP — AP-aligned tracks for the major subjects (Calc AB/BC, Biology, Chemistry, Physics 1/2, CSP, CSA, Statistics, US History, World History, Literature, Language). IB tracks for Math AA/AI, Sciences, and English are available with IB-style problem types.
- Is there a parent view for high-school learners?
- Yes, opt-in. Academy learners control whether a parent profile is attached. When it is, the parent view shows study time and goal completion summaries — not message content or individual quiz answers.
- What if I need a human tutor?
- Academy includes structured self-study but does not replace a tutor when one is needed. The Koydo AI assistant can clarify concepts and walk through worked examples, and the dashboard shows where a learner is stuck so a human tutor can focus their time.
