Drawing a Rabbit
Rabbits are adorable and easy to draw once you know the shapes!
Step 1: Draw a big oval for the body. Tilt it so it is slightly upright β rabbits often sit up.
Step 2: Draw a smaller circle on top for the head. Overlap it with the body oval.
Step 3: Add two LONG ovals on top of the head for ears! This is the rabbit's most recognizable feature. Make them tall and narrow. The ears can stand straight up or one can flop to the side.
Step 4: Add a small puffy circle at the back of the body for the fluffy tail (called a cotton tail).
Step 5: Add two small ovals at the front bottom of the body for front paws. And two bigger ovals at the bottom back for the big back feet β rabbits have large back feet for hopping!
Step 6: Add the face: big round eyes (rabbits have large eyes on the sides of their heads), a small Y-shaped nose, a tiny mouth, and long whiskers.
Step 7: Add fur texture with short, soft lines around the body edges. Make the tail extra fluffy with lots of small lines.
Color your rabbit brown, gray, white, black, or spotted!
