Know Your Blender
A blender is a kitchen machine that chops and mixes food into a smooth liquid. Let us learn its parts:
The BASE: The heavy bottom part that sits on the counter. It contains the motor that spins the blades. It plugs into the wall for power.
The CONTAINER (jar/pitcher): The tall clear part where you put the ingredients. It has measurement lines on the side so you can see how much is inside.
The BLADES: Sharp metal blades at the very bottom of the container. When the blender is on, they spin incredibly fast β hundreds of times per second! These chop and blend everything. NEVER touch the blades!
The LID: The top cover that snaps onto the container. ALWAYS make sure the lid is on tight before blending, or your smoothie will fly everywhere!
The BUTTONS: On the base, there are buttons for different speeds:
- Low/pulse: Gentle blending for chunky textures
- Medium: Regular blending
- High: Full power for super-smooth smoothies
Important: A blender is an ADULT-SUPERVISED tool. You can add ingredients and push buttons, but a grown-up should always be present when the blender is running!
