Rosa Parks Says No
On December 1, 1955, a brave woman named Rosa Parks was riding the bus home from work in Montgomery, Alabama. When a white passenger got on, Rosa was told to give up her seat. She said no. She was tired of being treated unfairly. Rosa was arrested, but her courage inspired a movement. She is known as 'the mother of the civil rights movement.'
