Day 1: Bubbles Everywhere
On day 1, the egg is covered in tiny bubbles. You can hear gentle fizzing, the sound of a chemical reaction! The bubbles are carbon dioxide gas, the same gas that makes soda fizzy. The egg might float higher because the gas bubbles make it more buoyant. Measure around the egg with a string: about 15 cm. Write it down!
