What Makes Sound?
Every sound you hear is made by something vibrating — moving back and forth really fast! Pluck a rubber band and watch it wiggle. That wiggling pushes the air around it, and those air wiggles travel to your ears. Your eardrum vibrates too, and your brain says, 'I hear something!' Sound is invisible wiggles!
