What Are Fourths?

A fourth (also called a quarter) is one of four equal parts. When you cut a pizza into 4 equal slices, each slice is one fourth of the pizza. To make fourths from a shape, you can cut it in half, then cut each half in half. That gives you 4 equal pieces.
