Apple Harvest!
Farmer Ben has 4 apple trees. He picks apples from each:
Tree 1: 8 apples
Tree 2: 12 apples
Tree 3: 6 apples
Tree 4: 10 apples
Total harvest: 8 + 12 + 6 + 10 = 36 apples!
Best tree: Tree 2 with 12 apples. Worst: Tree 3 with 6.
Difference: 12 - 6 = 6 apples between best and worst.
Some trees get more sun or water, so they grow more apples!
**Think About It:** If he puts 4 apples in each bag, he can make 36 ÷ 4 = 9 bags.
