What Are Digraphs?

A digraph is two letters that team up to make ONE brand new sound! Unlike blends where you hear both sounds, in a digraph the two letters make a completely new sound. SH makes /sh/ — you cannot hear /s/ or /h/ separately. It is a new sound!
