Story: The Lion and the Mouse
A mighty lion was sleeping in the forest. A tiny mouse ran across his nose. The lion woke up and grabbed the mouse! 'Please don't eat me!' squeaked the mouse. 'If you let me go, I will help you someday.' The lion laughed. 'How could a tiny mouse help a big lion?' But he let the mouse go. A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter's net. He roared and roared, but he could not break free. The tiny mouse heard him. She ran to the net and began to chew through the ropes with her tiny teeth. Nibble, nibble, nibble. The ropes broke! The lion was free! 'Thank you, little mouse,' said the lion. 'I was wrong. Even someone small can do something great.' The mouse smiled. 'No one is too small to help.'
