All About Dolphins
Dolphins are not fish β they are mammals! Like us, they breathe air and feed their babies milk. Dolphins live in oceans all around the world. They are incredible swimmers. Some dolphins can swim up to 20 miles per hour! Dolphins are very social. They live in groups called pods. A pod can have 10 to hundreds of dolphins. They talk to each other using clicks, whistles, and squeaks. Each dolphin has its own special whistle, almost like a name! Dolphins are playful. They jump out of the water, surf waves, and even play with seaweed. Dolphins are also very smart. They can learn tricks, solve problems, and even recognize themselves in a mirror.
