Using Clues to Classify
To figure out which group an animal belongs to, look for clues. Does it have fur? Probably a mammal. Feathers? A bird. Scales and lives in water? A fish. Smooth moist skin? An amphibian. Six legs? An insect. Dry scales on land? A reptile.
