What Is Erosion?
Erosion is when water, wind, or ice picks up rocks and soil and carries them to a new place. Rivers carry soil downstream. Wind blows sand across deserts. Glaciers (huge ice rivers) push rocks and dirt as they slowly slide. Waves crash on cliffs and carry away pieces of rock. Erosion is constantly reshaping the land β it is nature's way of moving earth from one place to another!
