Ant Colonies
Ants are master builders! They dig tunnels underground to make their colony. There is a queen ant who lays eggs, worker ants who find food and build tunnels, and soldier ants who protect the colony. Ants work as a team — they can carry objects fifty times their own weight! They leave scent trails for other ants to follow to food. An ant colony is like a tiny underground city with thousands of citizens all working together.
