Moving the Fulcrum

Here is a secret: WHERE you put the fulcrum changes everything! If the fulcrum is close to the load (the heavy thing), you need LESS force to lift it. If the fulcrum is far from the load, you need MORE force. Try this with a seesaw: if a big kid sits close to the middle and a small kid sits at the very end, the small kid can lift the big kid! The position of the fulcrum is the key to lever power!
