Ice Is Solid Water
When water gets very cold, it turns into ICE! Ice is water in its solid form. Solid means it has a definite shape β an ice cube keeps its cube shape. You can hold it in your hand (until it melts!). Ice is hard and smooth. It forms on ponds and lakes in winter. Icicles hang from rooftops. Glaciers are HUGE rivers of ice! Ice is still water β just very, very cold water.
