Numbers 11–15

You already know 1–10. Now let us go higher! Eleven is once (OHN-seh). Twelve is doce (DOH-seh). Thirteen is trece (TREH-seh). Notice a pattern? Once, doce, trece — they all end in -ce! These numbers are special because they do not follow a regular pattern like the English eleven, twelve, thirteen. You just have to memorize them — but the -ce ending helps!
