TR and DR Blends

TR words start with the /tr/ sound. TRIP: T-R-I-P. Your tongue taps behind your top teeth for T, then curls back for R. Other TR words: TREE, TRUCK, TRAIN, TRAP, TRICK. When you hear /tr/, always write both T and R.
