SH and CH Words

SHIP has four letters: S-H-I-P. The SH at the beginning makes the /sh/ sound — like when you say 'shhh, be quiet!' Then /i/ gives us I and /p/ gives us P. Other SH words: SHOE, SHELL, SHOP, SHUT, FISH, WISH, DISH.
