Listen First, Then Write
When your teacher is talking, it can be hard to listen AND write at the same time. Here is a trick:
1. LISTEN to one idea (one sentence or one fact).
2. PAUSE and think about it.
3. WRITE or DRAW a quick note.
4. Then listen for the NEXT idea.
Do not try to write everything! Just catch the big ideas. Listen, think, note. Listen, think, note.
