Read Carefully

The biggest mistake kids make on tests is going TOO FAST. When you rush, you miss important words in the question.

Try this: read the question ONE TIME slowly. Then read it AGAIN. On the second read, look for important words like 'not,' 'all,' 'most,' or 'which.'

For example: 'Which animal is NOT a pet?' The word NOT changes everything! If you missed it, you would pick the wrong answer.
