Canada, France, and Mexico
CANADA: A red and white flag with a red maple leaf in the center. The maple leaf has been a symbol of Canada for over 200 years. Maple trees grow all across Canada and produce delicious maple syrup! The red and white colors were declared Canada's official colors in 1921.
FRANCE: Three vertical stripes β blue, white, and red. This is called the Tricolore (tricolor). It was created during the French Revolution in 1789 when the people of France fought for liberty, equality, and fraternity (brotherhood). Blue and red are the colors of Paris, and white was the color of the king.
MEXICO: Three vertical stripes β green, white, and red β with a coat of arms in the center showing an eagle sitting on a cactus eating a snake! This image comes from an ancient Aztec legend about founding their capital city. Green = hope, white = unity, red = the blood of heroes.
