A raptor's eyesight is the most powerful of any animal! An eagle can spot a rabbit from over 2 MILES away. If you had eagle vision, you could read a newspaper from across a football field! Raptors have 4 to 8 times more light-detecting cells (called cones) in their retinas than humans. Their eyes are proportionally HUGE — if your eyes were the same ratio to your head as an eagle's, your eyes would be the size of tennis balls.
