The Great White
The Great White Shark is the most famous shark β star of movies and nightmares! But in reality, great whites rarely attack humans. They grow up to 20 feet long and weigh over 5,000 pounds. They are warm-blooded (unusual for a fish!), which lets them swim in cold water. Great whites can breach β launch completely out of the water β when catching seals from below. Their teeth are 3 inches long and serrated like steak knives. Great whites can detect one drop of blood in 25 gallons of water!
