Blue Whale — Bigger Than Dinosaurs!
The blue whale is the LARGEST animal that has EVER lived on Earth — even bigger than the biggest dinosaurs! A blue whale can be 100 feet long (as long as three school buses!) and weigh 200 tons (as heavy as 33 elephants!). Its heart is the size of a small car and beats so loudly it can be detected from 2 miles away. A blue whale's tongue weighs as much as an elephant! Its blood vessels are so wide that a human child could crawl through them. These are truly mind-boggling creatures.
