Your Breakfast Menu
Restaurants have breakfast menus β now you will create yours! Plan five different breakfasts for a school week:
Monday (quick): Yogurt parfait β yogurt + granola + berries
Tuesday (quick): PB banana toast on whole wheat
Wednesday (cooked): Scrambled eggs + whole wheat toast + orange
Thursday (quick): Overnight oats with apple and cinnamon
Friday (cooked): Oatmeal with blueberries, walnuts, and honey
Check: does each breakfast have a grain, protein, and fruit? If not, add what is missing!
Weekend bonus breakfasts:
Saturday: Whole wheat pancakes with berries and maple syrup
Sunday: Veggie omelet (eggs + cheese + spinach + peppers) with toast and fruit salad
Variety is key! Eating different foods each day gives your body different nutrients and keeps breakfast exciting.
