Dynasties and Culture

A dynasty is a line of rulers from the same family. China was ruled by dynasties for over 4,000 years! When one dynasty fell, another family would rise to power. Some famous dynasties include the Qin (which gave China its name), the Han (which expanded the Silk Road), the Tang (a golden age of art and poetry), and the Ming (which rebuilt the Great Wall).
