Objects Have Density Too
Your density tower has three layers. Now let us drop objects in and see where they end up!
The rule is simple: an object sinks until it reaches a liquid that is denser than it. Then it floats on that layer.
If an object is denser than ALL three liquids, it sinks to the very bottom.
If an object is less dense than ALL three liquids, it floats on top.
If its density is between two liquids, it floats in the middle!
Let us test some objects. Before each one, predict where it will end up: bottom, middle, or top?
