Your Own Density Question
Here are some questions you could investigate:
- Does adding salt to water change its density? (Yes! Salt water is denser than fresh water. That is why you float easier in the ocean!)
- Does temperature change density? (Yes! Hot water is slightly less dense than cold water.)
- Can you make a raisin dance by changing the density of the liquid around it? (Yes! Add baking soda and vinegar to water with raisins and watch them bob up and down.)
