A New Variable: Temperature
You know that sugar dissolves in water. But does it dissolve FASTER in warm water or cold water? This is a great question to test!
Set up three glasses:
- Glass 1: Cold water (from the fridge)
- Glass 2: Room temperature water
- Glass 3: Warm water (not boiling, just warm)
Add one teaspoon of sugar to each glass at the same time. Start stirring (same number of stirs). Which glass does the sugar dissolve in first? Time each one!
