How can you make your solar oven hotter? Here are ideas:
- BIGGER REFLECTOR: Add more foil to reflect more sunlight into the box.
- BETTER INSULATION: Line the walls with newspaper or cloth to keep heat from escaping through the cardboard.
- DOUBLE WINDOW: Use two layers of plastic wrap with an air gap between them (like double-pane windows in houses).
- DARKER ABSORBER: Use a black metal tray instead of black paper.
- BETTER ANGLE: Adjust the reflector angle for the time of day.
