The Boy Who Questioned Everything
Albert Einstein was born in Germany in 1879. As a child, he was NOT a good student β he daydreamed constantly and his teachers thought he was slow. He did not talk until he was 4 years old! His parents worried something was wrong.
But Einstein was not slow β he was THINKING. He asked questions nobody else asked: What would it be like to ride on a beam of light? Why does a compass needle always point north? What IS gravity, really?
At age 5, his father showed him a compass. Young Albert was AMAZED that an invisible force made the needle move. He spent hours wondering what this invisible force was. That childhood curiosity eventually led him to revolutionize our understanding of the entire universe!
