Mystery
MYSTERY books are like puzzles! They have:
• A MYSTERY — something happened and nobody knows who did it or how
• CLUES — hints scattered throughout the story that help solve the mystery
• A DETECTIVE — a character (sometimes a kid!) who investigates
• SUSPECTS — characters who MIGHT have done it
• A SOLUTION — at the end, the mystery is SOLVED!
Reading a mystery is like being a detective yourself. Can YOU figure it out before the main character does?
