What Is a Source?
A SOURCE is where you get your information. Good sources give you TRUE, RELIABLE facts. Here are sources you can use:
β’ NONFICTION BOOKS from the library
β’ KID-SAFE WEBSITES (like National Geographic Kids or PBS Kids)
β’ ENCYCLOPEDIAS (big books full of facts organized alphabetically)
β’ MAGAZINES for kids (like Ranger Rick or National Geographic Kids)
Always use MORE THAN ONE source. If two different sources say the same fact, you can be more confident it is true!
