Giving Directions

The simplest directions use left, right, and straight. 'Go straight on Oak Street for two blocks, then turn left on Elm Street.' Be specific — do not just say 'go that way' because the other person is not looking where you are pointing! Use street names and landmarks to make your directions clear.
