Weather is what is happening outside RIGHT NOW — sunny, rainy, windy, cold, hot. Climate is the weather pattern over a long time (years). Florida has a warm, rainy climate. Alaska has a cold, snowy climate. Meteorologists are scientists who study and predict weather.
