Build a Rain Gauge

Cut the top off a plastic bottle. Flip the top piece upside down into the bottle like a funnel. This catches rain and funnels it down. Tape a ruler to the side with the bottom of the ruler at the base of the bottle. Place outside in an open area. After rain, read the ruler to see how much fell!
