Elvis Presley became the 'King of Rock and Roll' with his wild dance moves and powerful voice. Chuck Berry invented the rock guitar sound. Little Richard brought incredible energy and showmanship.
Rock and roll used electric guitars, drums, and bass — MUCH louder than classical instruments! Parents were SHOCKED. They thought it was too wild, too loud, and too rebellious. But kids LOVED it. Rock and roll was the soundtrack of a generation that wanted to be free, have fun, and change the world.
