Basketball Basics

In basketball, two teams try to throw the ball through a high hoop called a basket. You move the ball by dribbling it with your hands or passing to teammates. You cannot run while holding the ball — that is called traveling. Baskets from close are worth two points and baskets from far away are worth three. Free throws are worth one point each.
