Baseball Basics

Baseball is played between two teams that take turns batting and fielding. The pitcher throws the ball and the batter tries to hit it. If they hit it, they run around the bases — first, second, third, and home plate. When they touch home plate, they score a run! The fielding team tries to catch the ball or tag runners out. Each team gets three outs per inning.
