The Treasure Map

Zoe found an old map in her grandmother's attic. It showed a path through the woods behind her house, with an X marking a spot by the old oak tree. 'Grandma, what is this?' she asked. Grandma smiled. 'That map has been in our family for years. No one has ever found the treasure.' Zoe's eyes went wide. 'I'm going to find it!' She packed a backpack with a flashlight, water, a compass, and the map. Her dog Rex wagged his tail. 'Let's go, Rex!' The adventure was about to begin.
