How to Read a Comic

Comics tell stories using pictures AND words together. The pictures are organized in boxes called PANELS. You read panels from left to right, top to bottom — just like reading sentences! Each panel shows a moment in the story. When you put all the panels together, they tell a complete story. Comics are sometimes called 'sequential art' because the art follows a sequence (order).
