Gravity Pulls Everything Down

Gravity is the invisible force that pulls everything toward the center of the Earth. It is the reason apples fall from trees, rain falls from clouds, and you stay on the ground instead of floating away. Gravity pulls on EVERYTHING — big things and small things, heavy things and light things. Even the air around us is held in place by gravity!
