Speaking to an Audience

When you present, everyone needs to hear you — even the person in the BACK ROW. Use your 'presentation voice':

• Louder than your normal voice but not yelling

• Speak SLOWLY so people can understand every word

• Pause between slides to let people think

Practice at home: stand across the room from a family member and speak. If they can hear you clearly, your voice is just right!
