Opinions and Recommendations

The best part of a book report is sharing YOUR opinion! Did you love the book? Think it was just okay? What made it great (or not so great)?

An opinion is what YOU think about something. Different people can have different opinions about the same book, and that is totally fine!

But a strong opinion needs REASONS. Instead of just saying 'I liked it,' explain WHY:

Weak opinion: 'I liked this book.'

Strong opinion: 'I loved this book because the characters felt like real friends and the adventure kept me turning pages.'

Weak opinion: 'It was boring.'

Strong opinion: 'I thought the middle was slow because not much happened for a long time, but the ending was exciting.'
