The Horizon Line

The horizon line is where the sky meets the ground. When you look out over a flat field or across the ocean, that far-away line where everything meets is the horizon. In drawing, we create this line on our paper to show where the viewer's eye level is. Everything above the horizon line is sky, and everything below is ground.
