The C Major Scale

A scale is a set of notes arranged in order from low to high (or high to low). Think of it like a musical staircase! The C major scale uses the white keys on a piano: C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C. It is the most famous scale in music and the one most beginners learn first. Every major scale follows the same pattern of whole steps and half steps.
