Fractions Are Music!

Every note in music is a fraction of a whole note! A whole note = 1 (the full thing). A half note = 1/2 (half the whole). A quarter note = 1/4 (one quarter). An eighth note = 1/8 (one eighth). Just like pizza slices: a whole pizza, half a pizza, a quarter slice, and an eighth-size bite. Music and fractions are the same idea!
