Sound Is Vibration

Every sound in the universe is caused by something VIBRATING. A guitar string vibrates back and forth. Your vocal cords vibrate when you speak. A drum head vibrates when struck. These vibrations push air molecules back and forth, creating invisible waves that travel to your ears. Your eardrums then vibrate at the same speed, and your brain interprets this as sound!
