Major Rivers

The Mississippi River is one of the longest rivers in North America, flowing over 2,300 miles from Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico. It divides the eastern and western United States. Many cities were built along it, including Minneapolis, St. Louis, Memphis, and New Orleans. It has been a vital transportation route for hundreds of years.
